It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Dewain Tate in Lake Oswego, Oregon, born in Modesto, California, who passed away on May 12, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Tate and Ora Tate; and his siblings, Tom, Harry, Fred, Gene, Mamie, Naioma, Pauleen, Ruth "Jimmy", Lilly Belle and Per.
He is survived by: his daughter Germany; his wife Marie; his daughters, Tracey Tate Cutler (Mitchell Cutler) and Toni Tate Carideo (Jim Carideo); his sister Joyce Tate Ayala; his siblings-in-law, Donna Tate, Sandra Knight and Steven Mitchell; and his grandchildren, Sky Cutler, Ali Tate Bridge (Sam Bridge), Emily Carideo (Neil Fryer), Gianna Carideo and Tate Carideo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
