She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thomas Akerly and Vera Akerly; her husband Jim Serres; her children, Janet Serres, Janine Jacobs (Glenn), David Serres (Anita) and Michael Serres (Donna); and her great grandchildren, Lanie Serres, Meah Sidhu, Jackson and Violet Serres. She was also cherished by friends, her nieces and nephews.
