She was predeceased by: her parents, Seth Sowder and Mary Belle Broyles; and her brother John Fairbairn. She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Marie Collier of Alexandria, Virginia and Susan Gene Fairbairn-Morton (Capie) of Lake; her grandchildren, Taylor Vela (Chris), Ainsley Pittman (Neil) and Ian Lockhart (Jen); her great grandchildren, Elise Pittman and Madeline Vela; her nieces and nephews, Keith Provost (Mary Lou), Gary Talsma (Lynn), Linda Blackmer (Steve), David Talsma (Denise), Lisa Talsma, Linda Henson (Daryl), Ruby Royer (Ron), Carl Hoffman (Suzanne), Carol Zienert (Carl), Pam May (Terry), Bob Riley (Mary) and Robin Soboleski (Al); and her great-nieces, Tina McElroy and Phyllis Palestri.
