He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Teela and Jessie Teela; his wives, Elizabeth "Betty" Winchell and Donna Fay Thompson; and his son Richard Teela (Ann).
He is survived by: his son Donald Teela (Dena); his daughter-in-law Ann Teela; his children, Larry Thompson (Cathy), Linda Zeuthen (Greg) and Michael Thompson; and also Kandace Gee. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
