He is survived by: his parents, Robert James Simmons and Georgie Lee Simmons; his sister Laura Simmons; his sons, Nicholas Wade Simmons and Zachary Steven Simmons; and his grandson Grant Allen Simmons. He is also survived by his grandson, sons and dog.
