He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" Dennis Simonson and Leigh Taylor Simonson; his sister Carol Jensen; his nephews, Andrew "Andy" Budd Jensen and Spencer Gourley; and his niece Mariah Jensen.
He is survived by: his wife Ava Simonson; his children, Paul Dennis Simonson, Michael Simonson (Morgan), Cammie Leigh Charles (Ammon) and Skylar Ray Simonson; his grandchildren, Hadley Ammon Charles, Jesse Paul Charles, Henry "Hank" Simonson and Leonard "Leo" Simonson; and his siblings, Elene Gourley, David Simonson (Susan) and Joy "Jo" Francks (Matt). He is also survived by nieces and nephews and their children.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Wheeler Mortuary (211 E 200 S, Springville, UT 84663). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (860 E 200 N, Springville, UT 84663).
