He was predeceased by: his parents, Thayman Johnson and Ethel Johnson; his children, Debra and Alan; and his siblings, J. D., Robert, Mearlene and Linda.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his daughter Brenda (Ken); and his granddaughters, Katie (Jesse), Kristen (Chaz) and Samantha (Chris). He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
