Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:55 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Stake Center (1802 Gekeler Ln, La Grande, OR 97850). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Ron's honors and awards include: BSA's Eagle Scout and Century Member awards, LHS's Outstanding Musician-Male (Gwen-Female), All-State Band, National Honor Society, Beaver Boys State, WMU Volleyball Intramurals Championship-MVP, Oscar Schaaf Lifetime Achievement Award for Secondary Math Education for outstanding contributions to the world of math from Oregon Math Leaders (Co-awarded with Gwen), and The Good Steward of the Year Award from Union County Farmer Merchants (Co-awarded with Gwen).
