She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Stringham and Opal Ruth Stringham (Bradshaw); and her husband Jack Courtney. She is survived by: her son-in-law Kevin Ludviksen of Upper Perry; her sisters, Aloha Bothelo of Island City and Pat Baird of Pendleton; and her granddaughters, Sharman Sams of Upper Perry and Kaela Ludviksen of La Grande.
