He was predeceased by: his wife Julia Kay Dick (Krupp); his parents, Ivan Dick and Lorna Dick; and his sisters, Diane Simpkins, Sheila Eiman and Joelen Garrison.
He is survived by: his children, Joan K. Duncan (Tom) of La Grande, Connie J. Hoskin (Rick) of Summerville and John D. Dick of Kennewick; and his brother-in-law Jim Simpkins. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
