We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2023, at the age of 83, Dean James Kotz of La Grande, Oregon, born in Joseph, Oregon passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father George "Curly" Kotz (Arnold); his daughter Leisa Kerr; and his brother-in-law Art Osterberg. He is survived by: his wife Carol Deonne Tippett; his children, Deonne Laci (Merle) of Island City, OR and Dominic Kotz of Salem, OR; his brother Norman Kotz (Marian) of Clarkston, WA; his son-in-law Bob Kerr; his sister-in-law Deniece Osterberg; his grandchildren, Rhande, Kyra, Jacob, Cole, Paige, Peyton, Hannah, Bert, Howard and Dean; and his great grandchildren, Rory, Owen, Evan, Reagan, Levi, Charlie, Jo, Kolby, Kyler and Hallie. He is also survived by 6 nieces and nephews.
