He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ritter and Bertha Ritter (Goble); his wife Dora Ellen Jones; his siblings, Ella Marie Packard, Don D. Ritter (Bud) and George E. Ritter; and his grandson John Shenfield.
He is survived by: his children, Craig Ritter of Milton-Freewater, OR, Jana Shenfield (Randy) of La Grande, OR and Bob Dalton of Island City, OR. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and 1 on the way and 2 nieces and nephews.
