He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Bill Lovan, Earl and Violet Strang; his great-uncles, Floyd Roe and Jerry Roe; and his uncle Stewart Bunting.
He is survived by: his parents, Alan Lovan and Judy Bowman (Bunting) of La Grande, OR; his siblings, Brett Lovan of La Grande, OR, Sharee Venutolo (Kenny Jr.) of La Grande, OR and Amanda Brasure (Cain Butler) of Lincoln City, OR; and his grandmother Madeline Lovan. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews, and numerous cousins.
