He was predeceased by: his parents, Terrance McDowell and Jessie McDonald (Wilson); his stepfather Howard "Lee" McDonald; and his sister Terri McDowell. He is survived by: his former wife Connie McDowell (Green); his children, Seth McDowell of Burbank, WA and Jennie Hendrix (Kurt) of Pendleton, OR; his grandchildren, Jessie, Frances, Anneliese McDowell and Emma Hendrix; his brother Kelly McDowell (Kathy) of Elgin, OR; and his stepsiblings, Mike, Bill, Pat, Linda and Sandy.
