It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Arlan Wesley Taal of La Grande, Oregon, who passed away on February 1, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Lynn and Gertrude Isabel Taal (Swart); his son Michael Brett Taal; and his brother David Taal. He is survived by: his wife Paula Benintendi; his daughters, Debbie Larson of La Grande, Julie Decker of Beaverton and Doris Taal (Barrow) of San Antonio, Texas; his sister Donna Hudson of La Grande; his grandchildren, Justin, Katelynn, Whitney and Courtney; and his great grandchild Elizabeth. He is also survived by nieces, nephews; and numerous cousins.
