He was predeceased by: his sisters, Mary Lou Bousman and Shirley McAuliffe; his wife Jeanne Hanson; and his stepson Fred Gehring. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hanson of Klamath Falls; his children, Charles Hanson of Brownsville, Andrew Hanson (Barbara) of Dingmans Ferry and Sonja Smith (Dex) of Corvallis; and his stepdaughters, Patsy DePew of Klamath Falls and Susan Blanchard (Larry) of Medford. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
