With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred Lowene Lewis in Klamath Falls, Oregon, born in Grand Junction, Colorado, who passed away on October 23, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Mildred Lowene may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Abner Leonard Ward and Jessie Dolly Rupe; her husband Glenn O. Lewis Jr.; and her siblings, Robert Ward and Dovie George.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary Glenn Lewis (Ginny) of The Woodlands, TX, Randy Dennis Lewis (Janet) of Westport, WA and Michael Allen Lewis (Julie) of Vancouver, WA. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Calendar South Beach Christian Center (1360 WA-105, Grayland, WA 98547).
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital, and/or Convoy of Hope, whom they both supported throughout their lives.
