She was predeceased by: her aunt Margaret Redd Gregory; and her grandparents, Mary Redd, James Redd, Jose Martinez and Josepha Martinez.

She is survived by: her husband Dave Wayne Skelton; her parents, Loretta Redd Martinez of Klamath Falls and Refugio Martinez of Gilroy; her brother Ken Martinez of Klamath Falls; her uncles, Drucilla Griffin of Ashland, Mary Garcia, Jim Garcia of Gilroy, Jim Redd, Sharon Redd of Eureka, Larry Redd, Shelley Redd of Klamath Falls, Debbie Hopf, Donald Hopf of Gilroy, Mike Redd and Kristi Redd of Klamath Falls; her niece Amber Martinez of Klamath Falls; her nephew Jeff Martinez of Portland; her great-nephew Hunter; her cousin Cindy Redd; and her close friend Trudy Novak.

In lieu of flowers, Kathy asked donations be made to Heart of the Basin Quilt Guild.
