He is survived by: his sons, Harold, Roger and Gary; his wife Ruth Porterfield; his children, Guy Porterfield of Dorris, Chet Porterfield (Tara Porterfield) of Macdoel and Jill Tafoya (Dave Tafoyaof Lake); his grandchildren, Kady Porterfield of Selah, Kara Porterfield, Paige Porterfield of Dorris, Ty Tafoya, Kyle Tafoya and Marianne Tafoya of Lake Shastina; his brother Roger Porterfield of Dorris; and also Guy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
