He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Hargreaves and Gladys Hargreaves; his siblings, Carol, Ted, Loren and Joyce; his wife Betty Knudsen; and his children, Larry, Sharon, Paul and Randall. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held after the Executive Order No. 20-12 has been lifted and the COVID-19 pandemic is under control.
