In the Law Enforcement Data System (LEDS) world he was HOOD,Y and everybody knew his name and his contribution. Any police officer or other criminal justice practitioner looking for information associated with crimes or criminals in those years was definitely finding it, most likely unknowingly, using computer code that had been touched to some extent by Mike Hood.
