With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Karen Maureen Scharosch of Keizer, Oregon, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Karen Maureen left this world on January 23, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Hanlon and Thelma Hanlon; and her sibling Benet Hanlon. She is survived by: her husband David Patrick Scharosch; her grandchild Jody Collins (Jeff); her great grandchildren, Erin, David and Natalie; her granddaughter Jill Ostendorp (Christoph); her great grandchildren, Jared and Kyle; her granddaughter Janet Fery; her great grandchild Stephanie; her grandson John Scharosch; her great grandchildren, Hanna, Logan, Ella, Macy and Jerry Scharosch (Annika); her siblings, Marcia Costello (late Jack), Gene Hanlon (LaVonne), Kevin Hanlon and Suella Hanlon; and also, Abigail, Isaac and Elianna. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Edward's (5303 River Rd N, Keizer, OR 97303). A rosary will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Catholic Community Services in Karen's memory.
