He is survived by: his wife Edna Garza (Peña); and his children, Jose Ismael Garza (Sonya), Rebecca Ester Garza, Sara Alicia Garza and Alexis Eliazar Garza (Tonya). He is also survived by 2 brother and 4 sisters, 15 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild and 2 more great-grandchildren.
