He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gerald James Bowerly Sr. and Eva Mae Johnson; and his children, Dave (late David Bowerly), Judy, Ron and Laura Heiman of Salem, OR.. He was also cherished by 9 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Jerry requested contributions be given to the Salem Evangelical Church, Youth Camp Scholarship Fund.
