He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Iva Osban; his wife Joann Cnossen; his children, Jeanine, Judy, Floyd Jr., Darlene and Darrell; his father Floyd Albert; and his siblings, Alice May, Barbara Jean, Fern and Charles. He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

His knowledge and guidance was the foundation of his family.
