She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Chester Samuel Kipple and Ermyl Ione Kipple (Nash); her siblings, James, Georgia and Betty Trupukka of Salem, Oregon; her children, Cheryl Burrell (Martin) of Oregon City, Oregon, Roger Obershaw (Corrine) and Pamela Obershaw of Keizer, Oregon; and her stepchildren, Sharon Jackson, Patty Symington of Salem, Oregon and Philip Burger of Oakland, California.
First granddaughter, Christine Obershaw, became her primary caregiver at Avamere for the past four years and the only family member allowed into Avamere after the COVID-19 pandemic hit locally, until hospice services were started in late October 2020.
