He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Robert Edmund; his wife Tess Ward; his daughter Gina Lea; his siblings, Jane and Robbie; his parent Corabel Ward; his children, Lisa Spreacker (Jerry Whiting), Robert E. Ward II (Becky Ward), Jana M. Ward, Mari Hanson (Mark Hanson) and John B. Ward (Joneen Ward); and his niece Linda Rogers Spurlock (Mike Spurlock). He was also cherished by ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Joseph United Methodist Church.
