She was predeceased by: her parents, Steve Miller and Clara Miller (Jones); her husband Melvin Kite; her siblings, Erma Narem, Irene Johnson and Steve Miller; her sons, Steve and Terry Gentis; and her grandson Mike Gentis.
She is survived by: her son Walt Gentis (Donna) of John Day, Oregon; and her grandsons, Sherm Gentis of John Day, Oregon and John Gentis of Athena, Oregon. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
