He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Martin Whitmore and Jesse Hariet Whitmore (Versteeg); and his daughter Cindie Oleson. He is survived by: his wife Alene Whitmore (Stevens) of John Day, OR; and his children, Teresa Anderson of Townsend, MT, Debra Howard of Townsend, MT and Chris Whitmore of Creswell, OR. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
