He was predeceased by: his wife Gladys Hopper; his parents, Ellsworth Hopper and Maude Hopper (Beavers); and his siblings, Zelma Brown, Hazel McKrola, Iris Woods and Forrest Hopper.
He is survived by: his children, Carolee Wisor, Callie Moss and John Hopper of John Day. He is also survived by four nieces, one nephew and numerous great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
