He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Schumacher (Sims) and Rueben Schumacher; and his son Brandon Schumacher. He is survived by: his wife Carol Jean Schumacher of Canyon City; his children, Adam J. Schumacher of Melba and Denice Hoffman of Canyon City, Oregon.; his grandchildren, Dillan Moore (Allison) of La Grande, Dalton Moore (Ashley) of Colville, Garrett Lovell (Sierra) of Baker City, Courtney Carter (Bret) of Pendleton, Jaxon Hoffman of Boise and Brandon Lovell (Savannah) of Prairie City, Oregon.; and his great grandchildren, Waylon, Raynee, Tyler, Boone, Calgaree, Colt, Brandon, Shepherd, KayMarie, Scout and Bowie.
The family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Ducks Unlimited or the Alzheimer's Association through Driskill Memorial Chapel at 241 S. Canyon Blvd., John Day, OR 97845, to continue Adam's commitment to conservation.
