He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Cookman and Mary Cookman; and his brother Evan Cookman. He is survived by: his wife Janean Cookman; his son Lee Cookman (Rory); his grandchildren, Elisha, Eva, Maisey, Willoughby, Ahijah and Titus; and his daughter Angela Cookman-Taylor (Brian Mattson). He is also survived by the fourth of four boys in his family.
