It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bette A Ternes of Irrigon, Oregon, who passed away on December 11, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Ternes; her son Bryan Ternes; and her brothers, Gary, Edward, Bill and Jerry.

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Murray (Bob) of Jacksonville, FL., Cheryl Temple (Mike), Dale Ternes (Shannon) of Hermiston, OR. and Lynnette Veenstra (Cris) of Irrigon, OR; her grandchildren, Kristine Perryman (Kevin), Karen Wilhelm (Erik), Kelly Sly (Kenny), Christopher Temple, Caitlyn Temple, Heather Alexenko (Landon), Matthew Ternes (Jessyca) and Jaycee Ternes; and her siblings, Judy Slininger and John Volk. She is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
