He was predeceased by: his siblings, Dolores Darby and Dick Dixon. He is survived by: his wife Anita Joyce Duncan Dixon of Independence; his children, Tami Templeton, Sherri Dixon, Brenda Cooper and Larry Dixon II; and his brothers, Marvin Dixon and Gene Dixon. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
