It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Zella Laraway (Hood River, Oregon), who passed away at the age of 100, on June 6, 2023. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Mabel Hannah; her husband Bill Laraway; her brother Everett Hendricks; and her daughter-in-law Beverlee Laraway. She is survived by: her children, Janet (Leonard Wood) of Hood River, James Laraway (Joseph Laraway) of Underwood, WA and Jon (Debra Laraway) of Hood River; her grandchildren, Wendy (Joseph Burrow), Bill Laraway, Jr. (Lori), Julie (Brian Schiller), Jennifer (Toby Hutchinson), Adam (JulieAnn Laraway), Bryan Laraway of Portland, Sean (Kyla Laraway) and Justine Laraway of Hood River; and her great grandchildren, Peyton, Campbell, Cam, Kade, Wyatt, Ginger, Shelby, Cody, Zella and Sage.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Zella's name to Helping Hands or The Next Door, Inc. and sent in care of Anderson's.
When asked what advice she would offer the community or the world if she could print anything on a large highway billboard Zella responded "Count your blessings, keep your faith and hope for the future.".
