She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Townsend and Lena Townsend (Mathis); her husbands, Richard Whitaker and Dale Pool; and her daughter Debbie Harman.
She is survived by: her sons, Richargd Dale Whitaker and Larry Whitaker; and her sister Earlene Brewer (Curtis "Pete" Martin). She is also survived by six grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
