She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur C. Zimmerman and Bessie Zimmerman (Dilley); her brothers, Tom Zimmerman of White Salmon, WA and Jim Zimmerman of The Dalles, OR; and her husband James E. Smith.
She is survived by: her sister Margaret Gump of Hood River, OR; and her children, Michael Smith of Hood River, OR and Leslie Smith of Portland, OR. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
