Richard Mueller Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Mueller (Hood River, Oregon), who passed away on April 14, 2022 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Leopold Herman Mueller and Mabel Marie Galle; his wife Laneta Wickham (Lennie); his siblings, Martin, Marilyn and Dorothy; and his son Richard.
He is survived by: his children, Peggy Fisher (Guy), Martin Mueller (Sally), Peter Mueller (Adele), Mike Mueller (Joann), Jeff Mueller (Lynda) and Anna Mueller (Alan Douglass). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Among the many contributions to our Hood River forests, Dick oversaw the development of Mt. Hood Meadows ski resort and the permanent protections and improvements to Lost Lake and its campgrounds.
