She was predeceased by: her husband Jan Kurahara of Sacramento, Calif.; and her sister Mary. She is survived by: her children, Jan Jr. Kurahara (Carole), Ron Kurahara (Peggy) and Karen King (Larry); her grandchildren, Kris Van Dooren (Mike), Ron Kurahara (Cyndee), Jon Kurahara (Kim), Stephanie Boehm (Kevin), Melanie King, Melissa Nishio (Matt) and Scott Kurahara; her great grandchildren, Dominic, Lily (Brigham), Nate, Tyler (Grace), Dayna, Eli, Christopher (Katrina), Dakota, Chloe, Mason, Jordan, Chantel, Isaiah (Hannah), Anna, Josiah, Rebekah, Ariana, Mimi, Nola, Wren and Rye; her great great grandchildren, Evan, Mason, Tano and Riyo; her sister Jean Kado; and her sisters-in-law, Jane Kurahara and Reiko Kurahara. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
