He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Valentín and Irma Pérez Valentín; his siblings, Edwin Valentín, Denney Valentín, William Valentin and Janet Perkins; and his father-in-law Miguel Barrientes.
He is survived by: his wife Rosalinda Barrientes Valentín of Hillsboro; his children, Rosario Valentín Martinez (Manuel Martínez) of Hillsboro, Saraí Valentín Garcia (Azael García) of Hilo and Josué Valentín (Andrea Dowdy Valentín) of Gilbert; his siblings, Jorge Valentín, Edgardo Valentín, David Valentín, Gladys García, Nancy Rivera of Florida and Maribeth Valentín of Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Isaac Manuel Valentin Martínez, Isaiah Daniel Valentin Martínez of Oregon, Andrés Jesús García, Gabriel Diego García, Samuel Ezekiel García of Hawaii and Nicolás Antonio Valentín of Arizona; and his mother-in-law Evangelina Barrientes.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Kidney Foundation in Wilfredo's honor.
