Pleasant, SC and Julie Anne Epling (Steve) of Burns; and his siblings, Shirley Newbrey of Fairview, Oregon and Robert D. Varitz (Trudy) of Portland, Oregon. He was also cherished by three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
