He is survived by: his wife Maria Celia Davila; his grandchildren, Nancy, Jacky, Cynthia, Luis A., Vivian, Josue, Danny, Elmer Jr., Darvis, Yuli, Henry, Linda, Moises, Yoselin, Emanuel, Joel, Sheily, Oscar of Ana, A. J., Iris, Ellie, Jazzy and Nyleia; his sisters, Sara Pineda, Estela Dávila and Consuelo Rueda; and also, Lesvia Davila Ortiz, Juan Urbina, Alma, Luis Hernandez, Elmer R., Mirsa Davila, Mirna Davila Ortiz, Angelica Marleny, Walfredo Monterroso, Claudia Celina, Oscar A. Hernandez, Manolo Davila, Zhavonda Buganan, Nicole J., Scarlett, Aubree, Leilani, Annalise, Noah and Sidney. He is also survived by 7 children and their husbands, many other nieces and nephews and friends and family.
