He was predeceased by: his father Irwin Schimmel; and his uncle Rollin Schimmel. He is survived by: his mother Pamela Schimmel; his wife Jennifer Schimmel; his children, Brooke and Gage Schimmel; and his siblings, Steve Schimmel, Theresa Spencer and Mia Stanfill.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the FIR Lawn Funeral Home (1070 W Main St, Hillsboro, OR 97123). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mountainside Cemetery (17675 SW Hillsboro Hwy, Hillsboro, OR 97123). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Scholls Valley Lodge (12840 SW River Rd, Hillsboro, OR 97123).
