He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Herb and Lena Herb; and his siblings, Bob Herb and Carolyn Herb Duyck. He is survived by: his wife Lana; and his children, Mike Herb of Hillsboro, Lori Herb Wiltzius of Forest, Bryan Herb of Chicago and Cindy Herb of Dallas. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
He was present with family when he succumbed to a brief illness related to Alzheimer's.
