He is survived by: his parents, Robert L. Basta and Betty Ann Basta; and his siblings, Susan Jennings (James), Gary Basta, Scott Basta (Marino), Brenton Basta and Janet Willis. He is also survived by four nieces, four nephews, and two great nieces.
