He is survived by: his parents, Charles Fountain and Neva Ione Billingsley Beatie; his wife Nancy; his children, Nancie Ann DeVita, Virginia Louise Schultens and James William Beatie of Bainbridge Island; his children-in-law, Tom DeVita of John Schultens and Tara Beatie; his grandchildren, Kristin Parrott, Matthew DeVita, Nathan Schultens, Nicholas Schultens, Benjamin Beatie and Natalie Beatie; and his great grandchildren, Hudson Parrott, Connor Parrott and Aubrey Schultens.
