She was predeceased by: her parents, John Dumenil and Ermiline Kein; her husband Norman E. James; her children, Calvin, Sandra, Corrine and Beauford; and her grandson Gavin.
She is survived by: her children, Vilma (Ganesh Venkatesan) and Dervin (Sheena James); and her parents-in-law, Rosey James of Chennai, Gregory Hart of Pondicherry, India and Robert Ross of Meriden, CT. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
