It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Carlyle Sutton of Hermiston, Oregon, born in Rainier, Oregon, who passed away on March 26, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Sutton and Stella Sutton; his wife Gloria Belles; his son Carey; and his siblings, Ina, Iva, Cecil and Elroy.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Sutton of East Marion, NY, Stanley Sutton of Vancouver, WA and Robert Sutton (Kim) of San Diego, CA; and his siblings, Aaron Sutton (Donna) of Stanfield, OR, Beverly Schott (Ben) of Olympia, WA, Jean Davies of La Grande, OR, Gary Sutton (Frankie) of Fremont, NE and Maurine Hansen of Richland, WA. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
