He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Follett Bensel and Edward Curtis Bensel of Hermiston, Oregon.; and his brother Terry Dan Bensel. He is survived by: his wife Lorrie Ryzek; his daughters, Audrey Bensel, Daniela Nelson (Jason Nelson) and Cassandra Stevenson (Dakota Stevenson); and his grandchildren, Elijah Allen, Isaac Edward and Judah Lily.
