He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Nichols and Elvira Nichols. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Kohtz; his children, Nancy Butler (Todd), Paula Cooney (Seth), Dawn Johnston (Curtis), Ross Nichols and Bethany Mayer (Mike); and his siblings, Jim, Mike and Mary. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (485 W Locust Ave, Hermiston, OR 97838).

Memorial contributions can be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 515 SW 7th St., Hermiston, 97838.

Ted said they were friends(as we all were) when we lived in Madison and Tom’s parents and mom and dad were good friends.
